Hi, I was presented with a telescope(Celestron 31051) some days ago, what planets can I see using it? And what for this I would need - astrological maps…? Or some special dates when any of the planets are most clearly visible?

You can easily view the planets Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus. Mercury is difficult because it’s so close to the Sun, Uranus and Neptune you can do, but they aren’t really visible to the naked eye, so you’d need to know where to look and dark skies.

Sky and Telscope (https://www.skyandtelescope.com/) is a good first resource. They have posts about what’s currently visible and what interesting astronomical events are coming up.
